Anjunadeep 12 - CD2 Mixed by James Grant & Jody Wisternoff - Continuous Mix
For those of us who measure sets in emotional depth rather than decibels, the Anjunadeep compilations are a sacred text. James Grant and Jody Wisternoff's mix on CD2 is a deep house odyssey designed for headphones and heartstrings. The vibe is warm, enveloping, perfect for a late-night drive or a cozy living room.
At an average BPM of 123.0 and frequently in 12A, the progression is gentle but purposeful, with layers of melody unfolding over steady rhythms in a continuous mix. As diggers, we applaud the inclusion of Marsh's 'Wasn't Enough' and Deetron's 'Photon' – tracks that define the label's soulful ethos. The journey starts with the atmospheric 'Arrival' by Hiatus, builds through the lush 'Metroma' remix, and lands softly with Monkey Safari's 'Gravity,' a fitting end to a weightless experience.
