Disclosure b2b Mochakk
at Cercle Festival 2024 (A380 Stage)
A Disclosure and Mochakk back-to-back at a festival named after an airplane? Only in our world does this make perfect sense, a collision of pop-house sensibilities and tech-house swagger that we’re all too eager to dissect. The A380 Stage at Cercle Festival 2024 is a cacophony of anticipation, a sweaty, sun-drenched crowd ready for grooves that bridge the gap between radio hooks and underground grit. Technically, this is a high-energy tech-house romp, averaging a brisk 131 BPM and leaning heavily on the dominant, driving key of 12A, with modulations to 3B and 7A for dynamic shifts. The energy balance is more assertive here, with a significant mid-range presence (0.21) and high-end (0.10) cutting through the low-end foundation, creating a punchy, festival-ready sound.
Their mixing is agile and playful, a true conversation between two styles, with quick cuts and layered edits that keep the energy relentless and the crowd guessing. The tracklist is a treasure trove of modern house weapons and clever edits. Alec Carlsson’s “Paris Fried Chicken” kicks things off with a quirky, bass-heavy swagger that sets the tone. Løne Døg’s “Straight From The Underground” is a raw, percussive beast, while the VIP edit of “A Vida Em Seus Metodos Diz Camla” is a hypnotic, vocal-driven journey that shows their digger credentials.
The inclusion of Disclosure’s own “Latch” is a calculated, massive peak moment, while Birdee’s “Underground” provides a driving, heads-down closing chapter. Other highlights like Kolter’s “Wanna Be With U” and Mochakk’s “Love Hepburn” ensure the funk never drops. The journey rockets from the opening filth of “Paris Fried Chicken,” surges into the singalong euphoria of “Latch,” and lands firmly with the relentless groove of “Underground.”.
