Dosem
at Anjunadeep Open Air London 2019 (Live) (Full HD Set)
Dosem at Anjunadeep Open Air London 2019 is the sound of a golden hour stretched into eternity—a live set that feels both meticulously composed and blissfully spontaneous. We’re in a field, the sun is dipping, and the progressive house is flowing with cinematic intent. The vibe is one of shared, open-air euphoria, where every melodic rise feels like a collective deep breath. Technically, Dosem locks into a perfect 125 BPM groove, using the harmonic warmth of key 12A as his north star, with excursions into 5A and 5B adding emotional color and tension. The energy is beautifully balanced, with a dominant low-end (0.66 avg) providing a steady heartbeat for the soaring mid-range melodies and occasional high-end sparkle.
It’s a journey built on long, evolving arcs, where tracks like MEDUZA & Goodboys’ ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ are given space to become true anthems. For crate diggers, the selections are masterful. The opening slam of Paperclip People’s ‘Throw’ remix sets a deep, funky tone. Madness Ba’s ‘Anywhere’ is a hypnotic, percussive gem, while Dom Dolla’s ‘San Frandisco’ injects a dose of sun-soaked tech-house. Shouse’s ‘Won’t Forget You’ edit is a sweet, vocal moment, and Dave Anthony’s ‘She Don’t Know’ remix is pure deep house elegance.
The highlight, of course, is the inclusion of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s ‘Innerbloom’—a track that in this context feels less like a play and more like a religious experience. The journey from that funky opener through the beautiful pressure of Stan Kolev’s ‘Beautiful’ remix lands us at the soulful, jazzy closure of Simba’s ‘Make Your Move’ remix. This tracklist is a sunset captured in sound.
