EDC MEXICO 2022 MEGAMIX - Night Owl Radio 339
The EDC Mexico 2022 Megamix on Night Owl Radio 339 is a chaotic, joyful sprint through what makes a Latin American festival so uniquely vibrant—where tech-house, pop crossovers, and local flavors collide into one gloriously messy full tracklist. We're listening, trying to ID that cumbia sample buried under a four-on-the-floor kick. The vibe is festive and sun-soaked: imagined crowds, confetti, and the sense that every drop is a celebration. This is a festival house and tech-house megamix with Latin flair, averaging 129 BPM and using keys like 12A and 7A for a bright, accessible sound.
The energy is low-end focused (avg_low 0.57) but with enough mid (0.32) and high (0.10) to keep it punchy and mainstage-ready. The mixing is fast and energetic, mirroring a festival's non-stop pace. The track selection is a snapshot of 2022's peak festival trends: it opens with Alesso and CORSAK's 'Going Dumb', a hybrid trap/big room monster. Nora En Pure vs.
Zedd's 'Come With Clarity' mashup is a clever deep house meets pop fusion, and FISHER's 'Wanna Go Dancin’' delivers that unmistakable, loop-driven tech-house swagger. Zombies in Miami's 'Frodo' brings a darker, minimal edge, while Lost Frequencies' 'Don’t Leave Me Now' offers a melodic, radio-friendly moment. Kamizi & Iñigo Vontier's 'Guerra' remix and Mariana BO's 'Esta Noche' provide essential Latin rhythmic spice. The journey rockets from 'Going Dumb', hits a peak with the infectious shuffle of 'Wanna Go Dancin’', and winds down with the hypnotic, vocal-led groove of 'Esta Noche'.
