Sara Landry
Awakenings Festival 2025
We all knew what we were signing up for with Sara Landry at Awakenings Festival 2025: a brutal, beautiful punishment. The kind of set that has you questioning your life choices while your feet refuse to stop moving. The Gashouder becomes a pressure cooker of strobes and sub-bass, a cathedral of controlled chaos.
Landry operates at a blistering 161 BPM average, anchored heavily in the 12A key, crafting a relentless arc that marries industrial weight with razor-sharp precision. Her mixing is direct and impactful, less about subtle blends and more about seismic shifts in texture. The crate-digging here is savage; APHŌTIC's 'Thalassophobia' injects a dose of deep-sea dread, while the pneumatic drive of TRIPTYKH's 'Jump' serves as a peak-time sledgehammer.
She opens with Marco Leckbert's aptly titled 'Shake That Bass', a statement of intent, builds through white-knuckle moments like Bollmann's 'Rampage' remix, and concludes with the 17-minute marathon of her own 'Girlboss'—a fittingly exhaustive victory lap.
