The Anjunadeep Edition 327 with Marsh
Marsh takes the helm for The Anjunadeep Edition 327, and immediately we’re in that headphone zone where the outside world fades and the sub-bass becomes your pulse. This is living room raving at its finest—dim lights, a good sound system, and the promise of a two-hour journey through emotive electronics. With an average BPM of 123.5, this melodic house mix weaves a tapestry primarily in 12A, but deftly incorporates the melancholic shade of 3B and the warmth of 4B. The energy is overwhelmingly low-focused, with deep, undulating basslines holding court, while mid-range melodies and pads provide the emotional color.
Highs are subtle, often just hats and atmospheric textures. His mixing is smooth and narrative-driven, with tracks allowed to breathe and evolve over long, luxurious blends. His own 'No Gravity' sets a perfect, floating tone for the live set. Cassian’s rework of Late Nite Tuff Guy’s 'I Get Deeper' is a sublime, slowed-down house gem that sinks into your bones.
Antrim’s 'There Is Resistence' offers a moment of darker, progressive tension, while Nick Holder’s 'Summer Daze' is a timeless, sun-drenched deep house cut. From the ethereal opening of 'No Gravity', through deep house excursions and Balearic tinges, to the spacious, atmospheric closer 'Clamorous Space' by Paul Kardos, it’s a mix designed for late-night reflection, proving why Marsh’s tracklist is a go-to for heads.
