Yotto b2b Simon Doty |
Live at Anjunadeep pres. Explorations 2022
There's a specific, shared euphoria that blooms during a Yotto and Simon Doty back-to-back, where every melodic turn feels like a collective exhalation. The Explorations stage is bathed in that perfect golden-hour glow, ideal for their brand of emotive, dancefloor-centric house music. Locked into a consistent 125 BPM and largely orbiting the 3B key, their set is a lesson in dynamic, emotional flow, balancing deep, percussive foundations with soaring, anthemic leads through impeccable, intuitive mixing.
The highlights are a crate-digger's dream: the timeless pulse of Oxia's 'Domino' gets a fresh lease on life, while Paul Keeley's 'A Sort of Homecoming', remixed by Michael Cassette, is a spine-tingling deep cut. They begin with the instant-classic melancholy of Tinlicker & Robert Miles' 'Children', journey through the peak-time rush of Claptone & Mylo's 'Drop the Pressure', and send us home floating on the pure, unadulterated joy of Love Decade's 'I Feel You'.
