We all know why we're here: to mainline that specific Anjunadeep serotonin in the industrial vastness of Printworks, where the only thing more predictable than the emotional arc is our collective need to ID every shimmering pad. It's a comfort blanket of a set, and we're all willingly wrapped up. The cavernous Printworks space is bathed in ethereal light, with that deep, reverent crowd hum underpinning everything.
Technically, it's a masterclass in melodic house pacing, locked at a steady 125 BPM and largely residing in the poignant, minor-key realm of 3B. The energy builds from deep, percussive foundations into those signature, hands-in-the-air crescendos through fluid, long-blend mixing that prioritizes journey over shock. For crate diggers, the move to drop the timeless 'Tinlicker & Robert Miles - Children (Extended Mix)' is a calculated heartstring-pull, while their own 'Walk the Line (Themba Extended Mix)' proves their production chops.
The tribal drive of AMÉMÉ's 'Balafonerra' is a perfect opener. The journey is classic: it begins with the hypnotic percussion of 'AMÉMÉ - Balafonerra', peaks with the collective singalong to 'Children', and winds down with the driving, midnight-hour pulse of their own 'Eli & Fur - Temptation (Eli & Fur Midnight Mix)'.
