Hot Since 82 x Prunk
Awakenings Festival 2025
A back-to-back from Hot Since 82 and Prunk at Awakenings Festival 2025 is the melodic tech house interlude we desperately need between bouts of brain-melting techno. It's for smiling, shuffling, and pretending we have rhythm, because not every festival moment has to be a spiritual awakening. Sun-drenched or neon-lit, this is festival mainstage fare – big grooves, bigger smiles, and basslines you feel in your chest.
Locked into a steady 130 BPM and heavily favoring the 12A key, this set is a lesson in peak-time, accessible tech house. The energy is consistently high-mid, with punchy drums and infectious loops designed for maximum crowd engagement, mixing that keeps the vibe buoyant and relentless. Jansons' 'Propeller' is a guaranteed floor-filler, while the Dark Mix of Gigi D'Agostino's 'Bla Bla Bla' is a hilarious and effective curveball.
Prunk's own 'Stay (Club Mix)' delivers the hands-in-the-air moment. Kicking off with an unknown weapon, it rides a wave of upbeat grooves through Folamour's 'Ça Va Aller' and Richard Brooks' 'Lean On', before signing off with the aptly titled 'JK Rollin - Where's the Party At?'.
